About Us

Wife and mother of 4 grown children, much to my surprise, after wondering for years “what my talent was” to find it was within me all the time.  Always searching for a peace that would stay longer than a moment, day or week and during a time of loss of a good friend; I spent time in the morning getting quiet and seeking a God I could feel and know.  I found myself writing poetry.  No one was more surprised than myself.

At the constant encouragement of a large number of wonderful friends, I’m ready to share my gift!  My hope is to encourage and help us all remember to have faith, kindness, and most of all love for each other. Dorothy's Gift is named in honor of my mother, who loved unconditionally.
